Oncology contributes five high signal trials in Trial Watch Edition 15.

The category includes programs across colorectal cancer, triple negative breast cancer, aggressive lymphoma, B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and newly diagnosed multiple myeloma.

The largest oncology study is a 600 participant Phase 3 trial in stage II and III colorectal cancer using ctDNA defined molecular residual disease as an entry criterion. Other signals include a 436 participant Phase 3 program in first line triple negative breast cancer and a 271 participant Phase 2/3 lymphoma study.

The broader signal is that oncology development is becoming more selective. Sponsors are increasingly designing trials around narrower patient groups, biomarker guided entry and more specific treatment settings.
