Kolhapur Cancer Centre is a comprehensive tertiary cancer care facility located in Gokul Shirgaon, Kolhapur, established in 2003 by surgical oncologist Dr. Suraj Pawar with the vision of providing integrated cancer treatment under one roof. The 105-bedded centre delivers a full spectrum of oncology services including cancer screening, diagnosis, surgical oncology, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, rehabilitation, and palliative care through specialised multidisciplinary departments. Equipped with advanced infrastructure such as modular operation theatres, linear accelerator-based radiation systems, and dedicated oncology units, the centre has treated over 40,000 patients and performed thousands of surgeries and therapies.
