BALCO Medical Centre is a 170-bed, state-of-the-art tertiary care oncology hospital located in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and serves as the flagship initiative of the Vedanta Medical Research Foundation. Established in 2018, the centre provides comprehensive cancer care with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, including medical, surgical, and radiation oncology, bone marrow transplantation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, nuclear medicine, and palliative care. Designed to improve access to high-quality yet affordable cancer treatment in central India, the hospital has treated tens of thousands of patients and performs a large number of surgeries and chemotherapy sessions annually. With modern infrastructure, specialized oncologists, and community outreach programmes for cancer screening and awareness, BALCO Medical Centre has emerged as a key referral centre for oncology patients from Chhattisgarh and neighbouring states such as Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
